The Department of Historical Studies of the University of Turin, in collaboration with other national and international partners, has organized the International Workshop "Economic Histories in the Horn of Africa" for PhD students, young researchers, to be held on 11 and 12 January 2023 at the Institute of Ethiopian Studies in Addis Ababa.
The initiative stands as a moment of confrontation in order to encourage dialogue between labor history and economic history through the treatment of case studies approached with different methodologies, able to offer a long-term reading and with a particular attention to gender aspects.
